How to be spellbound

  • By Antiques-Art-Design Sydney

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the penning of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, the Sydney Symphony tempts you with their new production, Spellbound.

Conductor Charles Dutoit has combined The Right of Spring with another of Stravinsky’s classics, The Song of the Nightingale, which is based on a Hans Christian Andersen fairytale.

Lastly, Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor is also presented in which soloist Arabella Steinbacher will feature with one of the most enchanting violin concertos ever written.

But what do you wear with all this vitality and enchantment? Well, obviously the bewitching influences of cool, sleek silver. So if you’re Spellbound, we recommend the below.

Vintage Egyptian sterling silver knot necklace, circa 1980 - $595 Vintage Hans Hansen sterling silver loop ring, Denmark, circa 1960 - $445 Eigel Jensen sterling silver leaf brooch for Anton Michelsen of Denmark - $525
