DJs 175 years

Most Australians have a special place in their heart for the department store, David Jones. As they celebrate their 175th year, they become the oldest department store in the world still trading under its original name.

To celebrate, the store is displaying a selection of their achive material including vintage fashion and memorabilia dating back to 1838. Included also are fashion photographs taken by legendary Australian photographer Max Dupain.

The exhibition is on display at the Sydney Elizabeth Street flagship store’s exhibition space, On Seven, until Sunday June 23rd.
