Vintage 1960s Italian Continental Silver Enamel Pill Box

A vintage rounded rectangular pill box with a chevron guilloche design under intense royal blue enamel to the hinged lid which opens to reveal a gilt interior.  The outer body and base is also gilded with vine leaf engraving to the walls between two raised borders of laurel leaves and the base with a similar chevron engine turned design as the lid.  Marked for 800 Continental silver with pre 1968 Italian atelier marks for Mauro Moschi of Florence - total weight 29grms - overall dimensions 45 x 39 x 12mm - c.1965 Italy
