Vintage Italian 18K Yellow Gold Retro Mesh Bracelet 1960s

A beautifully executed vintage bracelet of a wide 18k yellow gold mesh design that has then been rolled or stamped to produce a fabric like effect of a geometric pattern of shiny stitch or bead like links above a matt ground. Finished with an integrated box clasp and double figure of eight safety clasp closures. This is a really interesting and clever design and although bold is extremely versatile due to its low key matt finish which is then contrasted with textural interest to the overall surface - marked with pre 1968 Atelier marks for Bruno Piombanti of Arrezo - total weight 71.4grms - overall dimensions wearable length 197mm width 34mm - c.1960 Italy
