A solid silver gilt and enamel frame - a frame in the style of Faberge with an oval aperture with raised beaded edge which sits below a bow, swag and wreath garland on a ground of deep blue enamel over a ground of diagonal engine turned stripes within a similar beaded rectangular border - to the reverse an oval aperture with engraved and scalloped edge on a similar enamel decorated ground below a wirework easel - both front and back with modern replacement domed shatterproof glass over cream moire silk - marked 925 and an unidentified maker - total weight 202 grms - overall dimensions 150 x 80mm - visible image front 63 x 43 - visible image back 60 x 40mm - will hold an image including rabet 65 x 45mm - c.1950 Europe
