A solid silver rectangular book shaped table box of Indian Royalty and horse racing interest - a box in the form of a book with an all over engine turned design of wavy stripes with a polished border, the sides with fine lines indicating pages and the curved spine with name plates, the hinged lid to reveal a gilt interior the front with an applied monogram of Maharaja Vijaysinhji and engraved inside to commemorate the win of his horse Windsor Lad which won the English Derby in 1934 - marked for Royal warrant holders Mappin and Webb of Birmingham and 1930 - total weight 118grms - overall dimensions 82 x 67 x 11mm - 1930 England
